The sword is most likely of British or Anglo Indian origin with a scabbard and blade profile that to me at least scream Indian flank officer or Royal Indian navy. Based on the 1796 pattern light cavalry weapon this sword is an extremely curved infantry sized sabre with a broad heavy blade ending in a thick, nearly armour piercing tip and a bone grip.
