Silver Mounted Hanger

This piece with its green dyed narwhal grip (some losses to one side) and its hallmarked silver grips is a stunning example of 18th century decadence. These hangers were the chosen sidearm of many gentlemen not only for wearing but for battle and hunting too. This one whilst being made in Solingen Germany was made for the French market based on the Fleur de Lis engraving.

This hanger can be yours for £600 or best offer. If you would like to see a budget version I have a hanger almost it's twin with an undyed grip and brass fittings. Due to the nature of the grip material this will not be for export from the UK.
