A large near perfect condition example of an Italian M1860 Heavy Cavalry Sabre, these are one of the most heavy and overbuilt sabres of the 19th century and were widely accepted to be an incredible sword but they were also too expensive to be viable, one of the few times in history where an other ranks sword was considered to be "too good". This sabre is in great shape in original polish. The grip and wire are all present. The sword is marked W&C.
