A late 18th Century tulwar with a delightful finely chiseled hilt bearing a repeating geometric silver pattern amongst the grip, guard and discs pleasant angles and diamond shaped grip The sword has a soft curve with a thick ricasso typical of these types of sword and a gradual distal taper making this a sword that wants to chop, it would have been a wonderful weapon on foot or on horse and flows well in the hand when cutting from the elbow. The blade has a rounded nearly oval section.
