This dagger is very similar to the other steel example, it is all steel with a pierced decorative knucklebow, the dagger blade is wavy and of the style used in these. This is the largest example I have ever owned, being large enough to fit on a large hand. These pieces are rare even among the unique and niche weapons of India. Originating in South India these quickly spread over the Indian subcontinent. Due to their small size these pieces are known as a concealed and personal protection weapon as well as a piece that could be used in combination with other weapons on the battlefield.
