C1810 Silver Indlaid Firanghi £575

An absolutely stunning rarity here, a prestigious silver inlaid hilt with a true firanghi blade from am 1804 British Board of Ordnance Cutlass for the Royal Navy as famously carried at Trafalgar.

The swords blade was made by Osborn of Birmingham, one of the most famous makers of his era and is marked to both the rear edge and under the langet.

The sword was likely assembled between 1810-1830 and is firm in the hilt.

About 70% of the silver remains.

This sword can be yours for £575 or best offer.
