This piece appears to be a c1810 Bavarian officers pipe back non regulation sabre, there is no pattern for this just a fighting officer with good and unique taste.
This sabre is styled after the hussars or flank sabre of the time with a hilt reminiscient of Hungary's sabres but with a Germanic curve to the grip.
This is an incredibly well service sharpened sabre and unsurprising since Bavaria fought on both sides of the Napoleonic conflicts with many regiments seeing as much action as their French or British counterparts.
