A fine example of a British flintlock pistol dating to around 1800, the lock has been updated with a reinforced hammer and there is a safety catch you wouldn't see often on earlier models. This pistol has a plain lock and Birmingham proof marks. The pistol is in good condition for its age with a crisp action. Some minor losses towards buttcap.
