A rather interesting sword dating to the mid-18th century Indian sword with a slightly curved sirohi blade marked on both sides with a moon and stars.
The sword is quite interesting due to the fact that it used to be a basket hilt and has had its plates on the guard removed, shown by the indentation marks where they were welded in place.
The knucklebow is broad and a plate rather than a bar with beaded edges and an engraved vine on the outer face.
The pommel of this sword has some damage from being crushed but is otherwise in good condition for its age.
This sword can be yours for £325 or best offer.
