C1750 Broadsword Firangi £645

A rather interesting example of a true firangi (a word originating with the name "Frank" a catch all word for European foreigners), an Indian sword with a foreign blade, this sword has a mid 18th century European broadsword blade likely from North Europe or Britain. The hilt is steel with silver plating, about a quarter of the silver remaining.

The sword has a few small punctures to the disc pommel and there is a twist in the blade where the sword has been placed in the hilt at a slight angle. The sword can be yours for £645 or best offer.
