Broad Bladed Afghan Puloar

The Afghan Puloar is simply one of the most versatile Indo-Persian swords around especially for modern collectors who wish to comfortably wield their collection.

With flowing lines, an upturned dome pommel (this example sadly missing it's beads), floral quillons and an impressively curved, near kilij style blade this sword spoke to me the moment I saw it.

Shorter than most puloar by a couple of inches but broader this piece has great balance and heft.

What I love most about this blade is the interesting pattern I found after a gentle clean, almost tiger stripes or a laddered pattern up the blade which I hope does the sword justice.

There is a small section of damage near the openwork. The sword is still sharp.

This sword can be yours for £375 or best offer.
