As most of you know if you follow this page and my social media I absolutely love axes and this is one that really speaks to me.
This one has a rather attractive mustache profile blade with a rather nice taper, with a very thick back down to a fine edge and point.
This one has some wear to the blade as would be expected from a high carbon steel blade but rather nicely has its original haft. A rather fun thing not often found on these axes from the late 18th to early 19th century.
