A sword that I am selling as a display or restoration piece. This attributed 1796 infantry officers sword has been damaged but has a rather lovely blue and gilt blade by John Gill, one of the premier makers of the period and comes with a non standard blade decoration and an attributation. The sword has an additional Prince of Wales feathers on the blade and has an inscribed attributation to a Leuitenant of the Prince of Wales Volunteers on the guard. The sword is for display or restoration as it is badly damaged with a bent knucklebow and a damaged quillon. The sword can be yours for £275 or best offer.
