An 1845 pattern sabre by Hebbert, this piece has some rather attractive etchings and the addition of the locket on the scabbard chape which is an always pleasant addition to these early 1845's.
This sabre has more detail than the average example with deeper etchings and a very nice detailed cartouche on the guard that you would more often see on a higher-end Wilkinson. The sword is in generally good condition with one loose bar on the hilt and could use a general clean.
