A rather fantastic 1822 pattern infantry officers sabre with a named scabbard which is associated but might not be original. This William IV era sword is rather delightful as it has a really nice detailed guard, not presentation grade but nicer than most I tend to see.
The sword is in good condition with some wear and stabalised pitting to the tip of the sword and visible etchings. The scabbard is associated and named to an officer of the 97th Regiment and associated with Ireland. This sword can be yours for £345 or best offer.
