A relic or riverfound kora sword from North India or Nepal, this is an interesting example of its type as it is of sturdy construction with the tapered fullers as seen on the fighting Kora, similar to the kukri but there are remains of red pigment which is apparently of ritual significance meaning this fighting weapon was likely retired for religious or cultural use.
As seen in the images the sword is solid but in relic condition. The blade is nice and heavy, there are some minor losses to the disc guard and pommel.
This sword can be yours for £225 or best offer.
