18th Century Steel Bichawa £275

This piece is one of the most unique and interesting to come across my desk, the bichawa, a weapon named for the scorpion sting which it resembles. These pieces are rare even among the unique and niche weapons of India. Originating in South India these quickly spread over the Indian subcontinent. Due to their small size these pieces are known as a concealed and personal protection weapon as well as a piece that could be used in combination with other weapons on the battlefield. This piece has the blade in the shape of a buffalo horn as is usual with the typical knuckebow and carved decorations.

This piece can be yours for £475 or best offer. Reduced to £275.
