18th Century Indian Shamshir £375

This is a delightful shamshir with a hilt style called Punjabi by Rawson or Deccan by others with an incredibly curved blade. The blade is interesting as there is a pattern or evidence of lamination under the patina which is too nice to remove with a polish. This shamshir a pleasant flowing form and rarer than the more common tulwar.
