A 17th to early 18th century piece, this is hefty nicely balanced piece with a very servicable blade. It is made in a style reminiscent of earlier Italian swords. There are a few similar pieces in the San Marino Museum wth near-identical ball pommels and terminals to the guard. One of these examples even has a very similar blade with a distinct yelman.
Whilst optimistic I believe this is a 17th-18th century version of this sword rather than an original c1560 piece.
The sword overall has signs of wear with pitting to the guard and blade.
