Thierry The Sword Guy is run by me, Thierry Flekier-Wathen, I am a lifelong passionate student of history with a fascination towards the artefacts that connect us to our past and the cultures of the world. ​

 

Whilst a collector and dealer in all antiques, militaria and specifically swords, swords have captured my interest as an incredibly personal item that can bring us close to the people who carried and used them. ​

 

Formerly working out of the South of England and now in Scotland I have advised and sold to private collectors, galleries, museums and institutions as well as consulting to various media organisations whether supplying items as props or advising on historic accuracy. ​ Among my inventory I like to keep the unique and wonderful, whether it be rare 16th century swords, English Civil War campaign furniture, fine works of art or items that have been modified in period.
